Author Bio
For Rachel Wittenborn, the seeds were planted early on as a young child to become an illustrator and author. At eighteen, she heard God’s calling to write and illustrate Christian stories to help spread His word to children everywhere.
The concept behind her debut children’s book, God Paints a Rainbow, began with a theme of colors blowing away and paired it with the bible verse Jeremiah 14:22: Do any of the worthless idols of the nations bring us rain? Do the skies themselves send down showers? No, it is you, Lord our God. Therefore our hope is in you, for you are the one who does all this.
Rachel believes a great book is a mix of imagination and real-life application. She hopes her young readers come away from her story learning to ask God for help and that this stays with them long after the book is closed. When she isn’t writing and illustrating, Rachel enjoys going to church, getting dressed up, decorating, and playing with her pets—a cat named Tabby and a dog named Corgi—where they live in Austin, Texas. She is thankful for the inspiration God gives and for His collaboration on her publishing journey.

About Tabby
Tabby is the hardest worker at Tabby Cat Christian Press. (Her Publishing company.) All day long she types fast and anwers lost of phone calls. She picks up the phone and she is always nice.
Tabby works so hard. She works nights, weekends and holidays. We have another employee? Corgi? And he doesn’t work as hard. Infact I’m not really sure he works at all. You know? I hate to say that, but I think it’s true. So Tabby does work the hardest and Tabby will be employee of the month, this month, as well as last month and the next month.
Tabby is very proud to be helping Rachel with her books.
About Corgi
Corgi is a proud employee of Tabby Cat Christian Press. He is in charge of fun and whimsy, which are cornerstones of our company.
Corgi enjoys chasing butterflies, and pets on the head. He is excited to be helpful.
